Just seen Pards say Barnsley are a good side, come on Pards! Then Simon Davey say his side had the better clear cut chances. They should have been out of sight long before we went ahead. In three of the four draws we have taken the lead only to squander it. When will the penny drop? for them you just cannot afford to drop points like that, we should be saving the draws for when we would settle for a point during some very hard games coming up next month. Barnsley, Scnuthorpe maybe even Colchester are games we should really be winning.</td></tr><tr class="j0"><td colspan="2"> </td></tr></tbody></table>
He's right Having just come down, and with the team they have, home games like the ones he mentioned are games they should be winning if they have aspirations for promotion. I prefer to read the comments from Pardew, who praised our approach to the game.
RE: He's right if you look at it from their point of view they really should be beating us just shows what a good performance the lads put in YOU REDS (Y)
Was it ever any different Tina? Let's be the underdogs, do we care? Come on now Tina, to the tune of Sailing by Rod Stewart.... We are Barnsley, We are Barnsley, No-one likes us We don't care....etc etc....
Hee hee. It's always been the same. Don't know why I get agitated. A bit of respect here and there wouldn't go amiss though.
A Barnsley Chant To Rod Stewart? Any chance we can get his missus down here with him to sing it for us at one home match
It makes it all the better when we do well though I do feel perhaps we ought to practice what we preach - maybe 'poxy' Scnuthorpe (2 points less than us) would agree eh??!! To get a result away at Charlton would make anyone sit up and notice if they had paid any attention to us for the last few years, especially the battle last season. It's funny, because yesterday above all days I had several calls from friends that support other clubs, all congratulating that result (as opposed to when we beat Bristol, Plymouth, Scunny, even Saints). Which tells me that it's the journalists that are ignorant, and most probably can't even bother to research their reports. to hell with them... I'm delighted and there isn't a report that can be written that'd take that feeling away...
It's one guy on a message board Tina We say the same sort of things about teams on here. I think the fact that we are saying what a great result it was for us, shows that it's a game that they should be looking to win. At least Pardew gave us credit.
