Last week when we were linked with Martin Woods the fans were slating the club for having no ambition chasing league 3 players, now he has signed for Donny the same people are now slating the club for not showing ambition in not signing him.It leaves me totally baffled.

The person with no ambition is Woods

If he chooses a League 1 club over a Champioship club.

He's obviously not got confidence in his own ability.

It just confirms what I've always thought about footballers. Money first, football second. That's why Beckham's risked his career and international prospects to play in the US. His bank balance is more important. Every single time a player says he is leaving a club to further his career its a load of bull. Furthering his bank balance more like. Why don't they just say so.

fair enough but if all the fooballers who were just doin it for the money had their first press conference with the club saying " firstly i'd like to point out that under normal circumstances i would never play for a bunch of ***** like you, but the chairman has offered to let me bum him with the wads of fifites he's paying me for the next four years" it wouldnt go down to well with the fans. but who cares what we think anyway? Course he has. Ok, 'sacrificed' might have been a better word. He aint going to win anything that matters over there. No Champions League winners medals, La Liga/Serie A/Premiership winners medals. That's supposedly what a footballers career is all about.

Well no-one on here seems to think it matters that players are putting money before the right career move, so why not! [supposed to be answering 'The Dead Red' here]
