First time in a LONG time I actually feel like I don't want to go on Tuesday. At the moment the "oh don't be stupid, you're going" side of my mind is fighting back. Persuade me that sitting in rush hour traffic from leeds to barnsley will be worth it.
Because Its the FA cup, and its football - odds are it wont be a great game and there is a good chance we will lose, but the magic of football is sometimes there is a great game there and you never know which it will be until youve missed it. Just think how bad you will feel if you miss a classic Slim chance I know but in sport it does happen
It probably won't be ff I said this yesterday but I still think that I bought my ticket for Tuesday before yesterday's game because subconsciously I knew I'd be a lot less likely to buy one after the rosy glow of that last minute equaliser had faded beneath another poor Oakwell performance. Even the bus from Darfield is starting to look a waste of time. but we are Barnsley fans which means we will be there, and the club knows we are all that stupid which is why there are no drives for new fans with special offers etc.
Would it be adviseable to save ticket stubs then? if they might use that for priority. or will I be OK with my season ticket?
I asked something similar earlier today Maybe I used too many words for it to be obvious. http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/BBS/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=60041&mid=376256#M376256
Fair enough! I'm still undecided as to what to do though. I must say though that I'm leaning more towards not going. Thing is, if I don't go, I just know I'll miss the game of the season. I might just have to go to make sure that the current standards are maintained!
