Here's a puzzle for you

    See if you can work this out - took me long enough.

    Checking thru' recipts the other day, came across the following:-
    Asda, Rotherham - £15.99 1.06pm 10/09/05
    Morrisons, Barnsley £34.68 1.12pm 10/09/05

    Now I'm not a particularly fast driver, but even old Jenson would struggle to cover those miles in that time!

    Can anyone guess the answer?

    one hasnt changed clocks back? or one is 9th october and other is 10th of september..

    You bought something at Asda Barnsley but they had their till set up wrong so it showed as Rotherham, you then called at Morrisons for petrol

    Was one of them for dry cleaning or something else that was booked to you at that time , but you didnt actually pay until later?

    The Asda Living shows up as Rotherham but the Morrisons shows up as Barnsley?

    I reckon

    You were at the shops just outside Wombwell and bought sommat in Asda (which is shown as rotherham)
    then got petrol on your way out at Morrisons (which is shown as Barnsley)
