I would like to see something permanent

Not just sponsorship for a season, a match etc.

Lets see what the family have to say.

    I Mean.............

Phone Club Up Where BBS Have Sponsored, And Ask See If They Could Put That Underneath, You Never Know, May Not Cost Anything, Then With Money Which People Are Donating, Do What The Family Want.

Agree, but isn't the player sponsorship already bought and paid for?

In which case we wouldn't have to spend any of Steve's fund to do it.

    RE: Here's Another One

Why don't we get some copies of his diary professionally bound/printed. We must have enough nous and contacts on here to sort that.

One for Mrs S and Tim so they have something tangible of Steve's time with us lot. RedC had it right when she said she found out things about her Dad that she never knew about, so did I.

One for Barnsley fc for the trophy cabinet!

One for the Barnsley fc museum

I'm sure there are other people/places.

Another one - hope not too naff

Only thought of this cos just as I opened the post re Steve S, the song came on the Radio
"The wonder of you" (Elvis) The words sent a shivver down my spine.
Seem to remember Reds fans trying to get it off the ground a while back. Just imagine if we could get Oakwell singing that every home game in Steve's memory...(adopted as a BFC anthem), no words changed it would be brilliant.

How about (maybe has been suggested before)

A huge BBS Flag to be taken to matches - with "Steve Scargill" written on it somewhere.

    Another suggestion

A BBS get together sometime so we can all have a drink in Steve's memory.

Too late to organise for Saturday but I think it could be done sometime.
