    Couple of points:

The first incident shows that nod on by Isgrove into the box and hitting the keeper. I seem to remember he got flagged for offside for that? If so what an absolute joke of a decision. He ran from several yards ONside and then muffed his chance.

They didn't show him hitting the post just before he got subbed. I will say it again - this lad will NEVER score for Barnsley.

The handball - yes he pretended to get his arms out of the way but that does not disguise the fact that his left arm stopped a goal bound shot. One of Swarbrick's many, MANY howlers today.

Yet another run from inside his own half results in a goal for Hammill. Shame he didn't hit that second one a bit harder when he burst through their defenders and tried to walk it in.

Their second goal - brilliant stuff by their winger (he ran the show down that side for them). Maybe Williams would have got a tackle in, maybe not, but neither Bree, Watkins nor Brownhill did. Perfect tee up for Banks to slam it in. Shame, because we could have won that had we kept them out for a bit longer.

Awful fowl by JCR, deservedly sent off. One of many assaults on our players. They set their stall out with that ankle smasher on Hourihane in the first minute. Sick and tired of seeing these thug players at Oakwell.

Hm, for that skillful chest down and run on. I was wrong about him heading it. That was just the way I remembered it. I just vaguely remember seeing the flag go up and Fletcher protesting about it to the linesman. Note there were NO appeals from Chesterfield for a hand ball.

Loud shout from their fans, if I remember correctly.

Yes looking back at the replay he gave handball. It wasn't handball. If it was.....then it HAS to be a pen in the second half ? Looked more like his chest anyway.

There was also an assault on one of our players in the box in first half - Mawson I think . Their player had his hands around his neck, strangling him. Ridiculous. The lineman must have seen it.

Also totally agree about the foul on Hourihane. That set the scene. He gave nothing. It was an appalling challenge and in my view deliberate, leaving his studs in. Nothing given.

I think we're too nice for this league. Too easily bullied by thugs. Scowen might have redressed the balance a bit

I've seen it again now and I'm even more convinced that it was not hand ball. Winnall is about 2 yards away from Talbot, who is pulling his arm away. He did everything he could to get his arm out of the way of that. As for it going goal wards. Technically it is, but it would never have reached the goal. It wasn't a shot, it was an attempt to win a penalty. He flicked it up towards Talbot's arm rather than having a go at goal.

That said, how on earth he gave a handball on Isgrove ill never know. And that foul throw was an embarrassing poor decision.

Watching that depresses me. I spent last night in a fug of misery knowing that that might just be the end of our season. All the effort spent getting to the playoff positions spoilt by the last three home games.
Had we lost last Sunday and won today would have made all the difference.
ALL those chances going begging yesterday, you just knew it was one of those days.
