    Well I'll hazard a bet...

That he doesn't see the first team pitch for the rest of the season.

    And I hope I'm right.

I will donate £1 million to Rotherham

so they can pay his wages and take him on loan again.

13 games 1 goal and as soon as Richards comes in he scores 10 in 15

big mistake from Ritchie, playing him from the start of the season.

Haye is joint top scorer with Richards. 10 goals in 30 odd appearances. Better goal ration than 1 in 13? dont you think?

I'll do the comparison for you.

Hayes 12 goals (including the one he should have had against Rotherham) from about 35 games, plus as many assists.

    Conlon : F*ck all.

    There you go, all done.

Exactly. Hayes scores a goal every 3 games, Conlon scores 1 every 13 games

Chill out you set of nobs...

Did I say something to slag him off. Did I call him ****, sis I say he never did assists,

All I said was didn;t he only get about 1 in 13 until tuesday?

maybe not 13, but he hasn't been firing on all cillinders.

Calm Down, It was a deliberate attempt to catch half of you out, read it again,

DID I SAY HE WAS ****????

    No I didn't.

Nor was my post an insult to you..

It was an insult at how useless I think Conlon is if we're trying to go up, thats all. :)

    fair point.

    but his record is

League 6 goals in 30 (plus 2 as sub)
FA Cup 5 goals in 5
    L. Cup 0 goals in 1 (plus 1 sub)

Take out his FA CUP goals, that a very poor return for the league.

I was pointing out that you slated Conlon on his goalscoring ratio. Of which Hayes has just done the exact same of

1 goal in the last 12 (prior to Port Vale) which was against walsall, before that we had to look abck at the bradford FA CUP Game.

I am by no means defending conlon cos he is crap.

Just be carefull how you state things, ie his goal record, cos things like that can be very easily compared

    RE: fair point.

Hayes has created as many as he has scored. And who cares if its in the FA cup or league, goals are goals arent they?

    your still biting....

Nothing was ever mentioned about assists. You based it entirely on a goalscoring record.

Without arseing about with the FA CUP...

Hayes still only scored 1 in 12. If you want, it would extend is misfiring record if you took that out.

    FFS

everyone agrees conlon is ****, I was pointing out you said it purely on a goals record of which can be compared very easily (ie above), back it up with other comments like he can't head, pass, his farts stink.

In the 13 or so games he played in this season, Conlon never looked fit. I don't think he's fully recovered from the injury he got last season.

BUT to be fair, he pulled us out of the **** a few times last season, and linked up with Chopra pretty well.

He now has to work his arse off to win a contract with another team for next season- so on this, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench in the next few weeks, as he'll be trying hard in training.

Conlon has done ok for us, people have been harsh on him!! I would have him on the bench, he is a good option if we need to go direct late in games!! More chance of him winning headers and holding it up than Wright and Nads! Hayes, Nads and Richards can feed off him though!
