Have you got the Box Set?..Got mine yesterday, haven't had time to listen or watch it yet, looking forward to it...Have you got it, what are your thoughts mate?
Hi mate, no I haven't got it yet, I've heard the new tracks tho, there's one or two tracks that I can't believe didn't make the album, the sound is fantastic, also did you catch the Tempe concert and documentary in bbc 4 last week?
I'm going to send for it off amazon, I held off in case I got it for Xmas, I dropped enough hints but no one took the bait I loved the darkness one
Got it for Xmas.....not played it yet but what a fantastic package, it really is a stunner, there is a great hardback book of previously unavailable photos as well as the 7 discs............also there was a link on Greasy Lake yesterday for a free mp3 download of some of the songs missing from the Tempa concert...worth having....he's touring the States with a full River show...really hoping he will do the same over here..............would be a lifetime highlight.....
Re: Link for the mp3 songs I'd love to see Bruce and the Band Doing all the River stuff...Thanks for the info about Greasy Lake..I'm on it Arnside!
Re: Link for the mp3 songs Also have you seen the 15 disc set on Amazon for £15.00...a real bargain, it is the 5 radio broadcasts of the 1978 Darkness shows, I bought them individually, must have paid 15 each.......there are a few of the radio shows knocking about at the moment inc one from the great Human Rights shows of 88, I went to the Wembley show, brilliant....
To be fair on his own admission Reevy's Springsteen knowledge starts and ends with the song Born in the USA,
Re: Link for the mp3 songs Can't we talk to eack other without you being a total lovely person!..Fook off!
Re: Link for the mp3 songs More subjective opinions causing fallouts on here! Chill folks it is the season of goodwill
Re: Link for the mp3 songs Why does every thread have to be hi-jacked by the "forum-joker" Mr Reev...I use the term joker very loosely!...Its nice to talk about things now and again without stupid inane comments....Happy New Year Dr!
Wrecking Ball is a great album, and live the tracks played really came into their own, esp Shackled and Drawn and We are Alive......my fav is Born to Run...
