HGV drivers, RE: 7.5T zones

    Through experience, does anyone know what the penalty is for being caught in a 7.5T zone if you wasnt loading/unloading?. Nobody i work with seems to know and can't find owt on net.

    Some people say a slap on wrist, some say a fine, others say points. If its the later i best avoid running the risk!!

    I work for an hgv training company and as far as im aware the penalty is a Heavy Fine! £1000 has been known.
    Best to keep out of them unless you are delivering
