To be fair, it's not a bad pint in there these days, and they have plenty of choice. The only downside is that it tends to get really humid in there and it stinks, bad. It's a mixture of piss, sweat and stale beer. After a while, you get used to it, but only due to the fact that the smell has soaked clean into your clothes, hair, pores and the very marrow of your bones.
They'll be alright in the No7 don't normally get nutters in there ,seen alot of away fans in there this season
It's a bit different though to blackpoo and Ipswich .... Last time we played Hudds at home there was battling all over. Big ills ready he's stocked up on pitchfork and flaming brands
A few dotted around wouldn't go a miss. I'd rather come out of there with my nostrils tingling with the smells of spiced apple and cinnamon, than tainted and stinging with the stench of old man-sweat and stale Thirsty Beaver.
Won't lie we do go in most matchdays but if you go in at 12 it's also a concoction of cleaning fluid too. I can't work out why it is so strong the smells of beer etc
You know me better than that, mate If there's going to be any rough stuff, I'll let Crystal doing the fighting whilst I cower round a corner!
Re: You know me better than that, mate You get a beer, just take your own freshner by the sounds of it.
Re: You know me better than that, mate Usually away fans are advised to use the Metrodome which is the sporting complex at the top of the hill that overlooks the ground.
Re: You know me better than that, mate And thats stinks of chlorine and varrucca socks. Enjoy your pint....
Re: You know me better than that, mate I would avoid this place unless your idea of a good pint is drinking pi55 while playing sardines. The Old no 7 is probably the best town centre pub.
