Barnsley manager David Flitcroft has targeted five signings over the summer - and another striker is understood to be high on his list of priorities. Flitcroft, who led Barnsley to Championship survival after taking over from Keith Hill, last week released Marlon Harewood from the club. The Reds boss is rumoured to be interested in re-signing former player Danny Haynes, and is also being linked with a swoop for Sheffield Wednesday’s Chris O’Grady. O’Grady spent the latter half of last season on loan at Oakwell, but the Owls are unlikely to let him go on the cheap. “He (O’Grady) was one of us and the fans took to him,” Flitcroft said. “He wants to feel loved and he certainly was one million per cent committed whilst he was here.” Former Reds captain Stephen Foster is reportedly on the verge of joining League One side Tranmere.
It's new that he's looking at signing ive new players. Or well, i haven't seen that number mentioned anyway.
