    Way to take a dive lads! If you gonna throw it make the opposition look good, golden rule. Does anyone really think they were ever going to carry that tin pot back to Old Trafford? Get real.

    They just threw City a bone but it looks like they're not bothered either.

    I just think Bilbao were too good for them. Simple as that. Might have been different if United had a full team out, so in that respect I suppose your thinking is right.

    Bit of both I think; Bilbao are a very good side but I don't think Manure had much of an appetite for the UEFA cup. I think City wanted to win it though.

    Or maybe their opponents were just better than them?

    I haven't watched the games by the way, but it's horrible arrogance to suggest the English clubs only lost because they weren't bothered.
