    Refusal to get a centre half, a striker and to not ply our best keeper are shocking to say the least.

    especially on the defender bit. We have scored goals but the amount we have shipped is alarming. No team will fair well at all without a sound defence. Ask Kevin Keegan..he would have just loved it just loved it, JUST LOVED it if His Newcastle could have defended. Thats about the best example ever,Newcastle were away over the Horizon with a championship title , then their defence gave it away. Oh and what about the boring boring Arsenal (1-0) sides that won championships.They were all about defence simple as that.We neither have the goal scoring ways of THAT Newcastle side OR the solid defence of THOSE Arsenal sides.But just the reverse,we have the defence of THAT Newcastle side and the low scoring of THOSE Arsenal sides.Sadly a recipe that just does not work.

    instead of him making excuses saying we cant get the players in why dont he just shame the devil and say the directors wont give him the money he needs to get those players in because the way its going he,ll not be in this job for long.if i was him id be applying for the lancashire jobs now and stuff this board with there padlocks on there pockets.and they wonder why people are staying away they have had enough of the relegation fights if we were in the top 6 i bet my house on it we would be having 12 to 13 thousand coming down to watch but at the minute i cant see it getting any better.a few of the players need a right bollocking and i mean areight one and steele needs to be back where he belongs in goal.

    He got a centre half, he just had to play him out of position 'cos of injuries. We do need another striker, and someone to put pressure on Mellis.

    The main reason why the board can't back Hill financially is because we have such poor crowds. You can't just blame the board, they just won't spend what we haven't got. I agree about the Hill part though, it will be the lack of funds that sees him leave this club - he just can't build with the peanuts he's being given as a budget.

    He did at Rochdale thats why he got this job because he is a good peanut house builder.
