    And let's face it, he has shown he can do exactly the type of job Bates wants.

    Add to that, having to watch your team go 2-5, 3-3, 1-2 and 1-4 against the Super Reds in the last two seasons.

    no not obvious at all.
    there's no way leeds fans will give him time to build, if he thinks the pressure was bad her when he came it's nothing compared to what he would get at leeds if he did'nt start well.imo

    I'd be very surprised if he took it

    I'm betting that he is targetting a Lancashire high profile job next season or after. Burnley, Blackburn, Bolton, Blackpool etc. He'll bide his time at Barnsley for this season at least. I hope.
    If he did take it, a lot of what he has been saying about players leaving etc will sound a right load of ******.
