2nd Feb 2012: Sky Sports understands Blackburn youngster Tom Hitchcock has left the club by mutual consent.

The England youth international striker was not in the plans of manager Steve Kean after failing to make a first-team appearance for the struggling Premier League outfit.

Hitchcock, who is the son of former Chelsea goalkeeper Kevin Hitchcock was a regular in the Rovers' reserve side and was being tracked by League Two side Plymouth during the summer.

The 19-year-old ended up spending three months on loan at Home Park at the start of the season, before returning to Ewood Park.

But now the player has opted to leave Blackburn in the hope of gaining regular first-team football.

League One sides MK Dons, Brentford and Yeovil are all understood to be eyeing up a move for Hitchcock.

Why have you written it as though you've copy and pasted it from a press site?

Unless you usually speak like a dork, in which case apologies.
