Just read them, and I appreciate his honesty and realism. He knows his players are not at the same level as those of other teams in this division, he knows that we will play games against better sides, and it will show.
He is living in the real world where Baarnsley FC can simply not compete financially.

It's not the way he sets the team to play, its not a lack of effort or passion, it is a gulf in class caused by the ability or want to spend or not.

Barnsley have decided not to spend, that decision was made by the board, we are to operate within our means, that will probably mean relegation in reality, can we however make a fight of it? Maybe but to do this and stand a chance of success we need to be together is this possible?.

I made a decision last night not to attend, some may say that contradicts my reason above, but whats worse, to stay away or go and spend the whole match spewing your anger and frustration at the players and manager.

Each is itself counterproductive, but I don't know if I could go to Oakwell and cheer my team on to relegation, so what are my options.

I got the feeling a lot of people aren't going to attend in the near future, the thought crossed my mind but come matchday i'll no doubt get that renewed optimism that just maybe we can watch a good performance.

As for this passing back to the goal keeper thing... i don't get what he hopes to achieve by doing that all the time, the end result is Steel being under pressure and launching it out for a throw in. Maybe the players don't want to risk losing possession and harming their prozone stats?

I think its more of the midfield players been scared of taking the ball when under pressure. We know Doyle isnt a cultured footballer, he's there to do a job, and it seems so is Addison, so maybe one needs to make way for someone who will show for the ball. Having said that, by the looks of our defence, they need as much protection as possible, so we might be ****** all way round.
