Has to be some kind of mistake - the organisers seem to have overlooked the best stadium on the planet? https://finance.yahoo.com/news/uk-i...RslvOIZe5pTYKXWAs_lULKJT8qoFWW4VCJPkjEzJ8_HRf
It's mad the biggest county in the country has been completely overlooked. Then again we don't have any decent stadiums to the capacity necessary for a major event.
No decent stadiums end of. Leeds a relic got to be one of the worst in the prem. Hillsborough another relic. Bramall lane. Away end not fit for purpose. Most others too small. Hull. Probably the only one I can think that may pass for a low attendance match.
I liked Elland Road and Hillsborough. Old grounds with character and good capacities. A bit of TLC and they'd be great tournament stadia with excellent transport links.
The away facilities. Were/are outdated. Lots of restricted views at both. And a gang way exit at bell end road closed with everyone and their grandmother, refusing to believe those that they were clambering over were trying to explain. God help those there if a major incident occurs. I do like grounds with character. But the prices some clubs charge for outdated facilities are beyond a joke. And the worst. You've guessed it. Bell end rd. Pig sty and to a degree Ipswich.
Cheers mate. I didn't realise it had got that bad. I went to Leeds in 2006 and buses were laid on from the arches to and from the ground. I had no problem entering or exiting the stadium either.
