Pointless post, but got me wondering ...

I just flicking through tv stations and the choice is massive which it got me thinking about football recordings.

As we know, every league match is recorded and has been for years.

For top flight, every match has been recorded and presumably saved since, 1992 at least, probably before.

This means, we have tens of thousands of matches recorded.

Wr have the technology in iplayer, Amazon prime, youtube etc ..... Why aren't they available to us to see? [other than greed] A random match of the 1992 season , surely isn't worth much in rights money? [I also personally think copyright should run out on football matches after a few years, but that's another issue]

A monthly subscription to a back catalogue would be a good idea. A bit like the WWE network. For a tenner a month, you can essentially watch any televised North American wrestling show from the past 70 years.
