    If memory serves it was only an injury time equaliser from De Zeeuw (header from a corner at Kop End) that rescued a point in one of the 2-2 draws. First day of season I think.

    When I was young...

    I used to remember Barnsley playing West Brom, and we seemed to always, always beat them. I remember saying to my dad 'Who are we playing on Saturday dad?'

    'West Brom' he replied.

    'Is that the team we always beat?'

    'Yes, he replied joyfully'

    We won 4-1.

    7 Years later;

    'Son, who do we play at the weekend?'

    'West Brom away mam'

    'Oh, should win them'

    'No'

    We lost 7-0

    Oh, how times change :D
