According to someone emailing Radio Sheff who's source is an "Oakwell Insider"
Ritchie's contract been stalled... Ritchie close to sack... Players disgruntled.. No money to spend....

Ritchie's contract been stalled - correct Ritchie close to sack - if he doesnt sign any players, yes Players disgruntled - ****** No money to spend - ******
You're right Tina. Like it or loath it. AR is on his way out. GS has made his position almost untennable. If he had the courage he'd just fire him, not stab him in the back so hard he has to quit.
I don't think it's ****** if players aere disgruntled.. afterall some of them simply are not good enough, and another manger may just well tell them that & get shut, Richards & Wright, your time is almost up.
RE: You're right Tina. Like it or loath it. AR is on his way out. after hearing Ritchie groan on about us never getting into the premiership again (look at Lutons attendances and fincances, theyll be pushing for playoffs, Colchester have no fans but they are high up and look at Watford) it wouldnt bother me whatsover if he was sacked. I was a big fan of his until he randomly said that (mainly because i thought he wasnt being backed by the board but he is). Wonder if Danny Wilson was saying ****** like that? Id be more in favour of a ruthless manager with ambition and faith in his managerial abilities. Adie Boothroyd/Martin Allen know the score.
RE: I think that it was obvious from that interview that Ritchie's days are very close to being en I think your right there Tina. The Chairman and the Manager havn't spoken to each other for nearly a week, at a crucial time in the club. Andy Ritchie , by hook or by crook wants to hang on to the players that he as at the club. Players could and will side with the manager, Ritchie dosn't want to bring in new players for upsetting the current squad. Shep wants players in, knowing like the rest of us that if the team isn't improved, relegation is on the cards. I'm lost in all this, who is managing the football club, Shep or Ritchie. Conflict!!! and i think Ritchies days are numbered. A truly sorry state of affairs.
Implication from the Radio is that the players are behind Ritchie and disgruntled with the Board... ...does anybody see it differently?
RE: I think that it was obvious from that interview that Ritchie's days are very close to being en thing is i agree with ritchie, but the the results are not getting any better and he doesn,t appear to be able to stop the goals leaking with the current players. Why the hell won,t he realise that some of the players are not good enough!
RE: Implication from the Radio is that the players are behind Ritchie and disgruntled with the Board Yeah that's what the Oakwell Insider seemed to be saying...

yeah but if they wanted shut why didn,t they let him talk to wendies.Gettin shut of ritchie would cause huge damage to barnsley,it,s obvious the players like ritchie.
RE: Implication from the Radio is that the players are behind Ritchie and disgruntled with the Board not suprising that players are unhappy with the board, they know that a new experienced manager would let them know how poor some of them are and probably drop them, there mate andy would never do that
The players love Ritchie, trouble is the fans don't love some of the players, and the players don't love Shep, and Shep dosn't love Ritchie, and Ritchie as gone off the fans for pulling his team to bits. And Andy dosn't love Shep, and Shep wants to side with the fans, and Toby Tyke loves nobody only himself. Another week and it'll all come art in twesh.
