    This is the inevitable outcome of "chasing the dream". Most clubs that overachieve (see Rotherham, Bradford, Barnsley and Swindon) are only there due to one man with lots of money bankrolling the club. Higher wages and smaller crowds are the only things that are needed to start a crisis.

    Scarboro have been in a mess for years, ever since John Russell was there. He's the same bloke who was involved at Halifax and Exeter. Strangely, every club where he has been chairman have gone into administration soon after.
