BREAKING: Leeds United can confirm that David Hockaday's contract at the club has been terminated with immediate effect
Might end up being given the job. Cellino rates him highly, as a man and coach. According to my scum friends.
It was a disastrous appointment and my only surprise is that he lasted as long as he did. Whats the odds of De Canio ending up there?
Clearly Hockaday was never going to make it past the transfer window. A stupid plan by Cellino so he can bring his own players in before the window closes, and then he can appoint his man.
Bet Hockaday is laffin dependant on the length of his contract! If its a year! Pissing him sen! Owt longer he'll need incontinence pads!
Since Cellino took over at LUFC, he has had a spend purge. Things like closing down the club canteen, players having money deducted from wages for kit laundry, etc. So why the **** would you give Hockaday a 2 year contract and then sack him less than 2 months into it? I will tell you why.......cos Cellino is an Italina **** wit.......there will be more laughs to come, im sure of that.
Yeah he's made some good decisions like players having to wash for themselves and sort their own dinner out, which is the case in the majority of jobs. But then he goes and sacks a guy after six games that shouldn't have got the position in the first place. Hockaday was on about 50k a year wasn't he? McDermott was rumoured to be on around 400k and he was supposedly brought in on an 8th of it. Should see 100k well all is said and done.
Sacked twice from same club in a year ! ! "Rolando Maran is the bookies' favourite to become the new Leeds united manager following the sacking of Dave Hockaday on Thursday.Hockaday only joined the club in June but becomes their third managerial casualty since February 2012. As for Maran, 51, he has managed a host of clubs in Italy and most recently had two spells in charge of Catania. He was sacked in 2013, re-joined in January of this year and dismissed again in April."
Re: Sacked twice from same club in a year ! ! Leeds is a disaster waiting to happen and has been for some time. Relegation looms large.
