I have to admit he's a class act and a world of possibilities follow. Someone who was not a class act today was Butterfield, who committed a nasty foul on said Holgate, moaned at the ref regularly, got booked for being an idiot (repeatedly refusing to retreat far enough when a corner was taken), showed dissent by clapping the ref for making what was an obviously correct decision, then was the first off without bothering to shake hands with anyone. Not a class act.
Butterfield was an absolute disgrace to his profession today. No matter how hard done by he feels about leaving us there is no excuse to behave like he did. I thought it was Alan Smith when he put on that pantomime by the corner. Right out of the Smith locker of snidey behaviour.
Can we leave the Buttercup thing to rest now, it was a friendly we wont be playing Huddersfield this season, give it a rest.... If Holgate is going and it is for £1 million i hope we get the money up front and not the 500k rumored to be.. I also hope he chooses Everton as he would actually have a chance of first team football there albeit a low chance with Coleman, Stones and Jags ahead of him. but Everton aren't spoiled for choice in right backs and central defenders hence why not wanting to lose Stones. When he does inevitably go, i wish him the best and i will hopefully see him at Goodison for the 2-3 games i go to....
