Try Playa del Carmen in Mexico or Playacar just outside of there.
Fantastic place and beautiful weather more or less certain at that time of year.
5th Avenue is a great place for people watching at any time of day, You have to try Babes Noodle bar, best Mojito in the world, lol.

Cancun is more geared towards the Yanks in my opinion, Playa is more varied, plenty of nightlife and Mamitas beach club is rated as the best in the World, well it was 2 years ago when we were there.
Take a ferry across to Cozomel too, tax free shopping !!!! Reef diving is lovely there.
Playa is my favourite place in all the places I have been to.

Not been but have been told it is a place to go to.

I've been to Havana then drove to Playa Esmerelda via Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa.

Then a flight back to Havana and drive out to Pinar del Rio then back here!

Had a great time. You can see what works and what needs to improve but I'd love to go back.
