Palace are a bigger club than Blackpool. Blackpool were getting 8k crowds and one of if not the smallest club in the Champs when they got promoted. If they don't go back up soon, the parachute payments will stop and they'll be back to where they were a few years ago but with a completed stadium. Their crowds are down to 11,000 now 2 season after the Prem. Palace on the other hand are doing well this season and haven't averaged under 14,500 for a good 15 years, in the long run they'll be a much better prospect than Blackpool.
Yes you're right in what you are saying, but at the moment Blackpool are better-off money wise than Palace at the moment. So he would be better-off stopping where he is.
Not with Blackpool's owner, he's famous for having deep pockets. £90 million for getting promotion into the Premiership and they've still got a temporary stand and half completed corner...
I think the Blackpool story is the most impressive and heartwarming achievment for years. Gaining promotion on that budget, playing the football they did, was amazing. It'll be a shame if he goes to Palace, once again a bigger club poaching from a smaller club's success. Don't see why he'd go now though, he's built his team at Blackpool, got player after player all playing his kind of football, Palace have a sqaud totally different in nature and lacking the same quality.
