our home form is identical to the top two teams-what are they doing different to us away from home -are we too defensive/not defensive enough

anyone who's been to all away matches care to comment??

only 2 away games for me, and we didnt take our chances. if we had a goalscorer, we'd have won both of those.

I don't fit the criteria but I'd say the problem is tactical

perhaps because of Ritchie allegedly being "one of the lads"??

    Not just under Ritchie

Since Basset's departure the squad assembled under the various incumbents has, imho, shown little or no stomach for a scrap, especially away from home. Due in no small part to never replacing Redfearn as a leader.

    Gerry Taggart.

    I'll take it

I think it is tactical. We seem to be more inclined to defend and hoof long balls up field, particularly in the first half. With the exception of Colchester, in the other away games we have played well in patches - usually in the second half. That has been the case whether or not we have been winning at half time. I think we show the home team too much respect in the first half. That even applied at Gillingham where we ended up winning 3 nil.

    Harts away record

not too bad realy over 23 games..only 0.3 points per game or perhaps 7 points over the season. Throdason even closer..perhaps 3 points off wilson.

I think the stats show the distinct lack of Home form under all managers since basset.

We all get too hung up on away results when its the Home games where a decent season is made or lost.

not so sure-our home form this season is fine-away form is cr^p-we need to win more than we lose away from home
