Don't think we have anything to fear at all. Obviously would have liked a better result but they offered nothing apart from one piece of quality. We were poor but their keeper was still motm. Really think we'll turn em over. We need to take it to them and they will be protecting a lead. Early goal and its game on again. We will do it!!!!
Can’t share your optimism. Now done the treble on us, 5-0 aggregate. To me they look like they could play us all day.
I know and I've watched all 3 games and still find it hard to believe they've beat us on every occasion but tonight's result aside did they look a better team than us? Just still don't think it's not over by a long chalk.
Swansea are an organised and gritty team with quality up top but we still created very good chances against them, if we can show a smidge more quality and composure theres no reason why we can't do it.
3 times I’ve seen them beat us this season and I’m yet to be particularly impressed. But they’ve had our number each time. I’m gutted right now. But also very proud of all the lads.
They had one maybe two chances and scored we had Brittan Woodrow Morris with top chances and a clear handball penalty shout , we should have done better . They defended well but it’s by no means over , history suggests Val should get them practicing penalties
That's exactly how I see it RC. Having beaten Brentford and Bournemouth away It's impossible not to think we can turn it round though we just need a hero to step foreward on Saturday
I agree, we really should be out of it and I should feel despondent, but I don’t. They are a mid table Championship side who are about to break up. We’re still in this. I’d like to see a couple of things sorted before Saturday. One, Stop pumping long balls on to Dike’s head. Their defenders are better than him in the air and he’s better on the deck. Two, ffs practice penalties!
Just need to score more times in one game than the three previously and keep a clean sheet against them for the first time in four games and we should be OK.
They don't create enough clear cut chances against Swansea ( I have seen the attempts stats by the way). It is, therefore for me a creativity and finishing thing. Ismael needs to address this for the second leg and change tactics in the short term so that the big punt is altered slightly. Swansea counter it really well by pushing up just enough to make sure it tends to break down
I wouldn’t say I’m confident, but I definitely don’t think it’s over. Morris must start. We’ve never lost a play off away leg - in fact we’ve won them all. We’re definitely due a result against Swansea. I don’t think we were at our best tonight, but we kept ourselves in it, and but for brilliant saves from their keeper, would be level. Still a long way to go.
Can't agree with people saying they don't look good or offer nothing. They defended excellently and Ayew and Lowe have pure talent, Lowe was great defensively also. Defense wins championships as they say. I do agree though that it's far from over.
