Against Blackpool. Im taking the nephew and I hope its going to turn out to be a good present instead of a punishment for the lad.

    not a chance fella

we are stuck with present situation. Its complete madness I know. But it seems that no one at Oakwell , behind the scenes that is , can see what the rest of the footballing world can.

Burton and hecky would be a good move until the end of season and the take a look at how the do and others avaliable. No experienced manager would come here for a relegation scrap and sometimes good managers come from in the club look at Dean Cox. Or maybe we should go give another numpty a 3 year deal and pay em off in 6 months

If we sack this one and then throw burton and hecky to the wolves as well then I really would despair. No more jobs for the boys, no more mr nice guys. Can we get a big ugly ******* in to tell these underperforming players a few home truths please. and if anyone actually mentions devaney or hassel getting the job I think il probably just laugh out loud. ******* lunatics.

Burton and hecky did well last time round know the players love the club and can't do any worse then Lee Jay who I'm sure some of the players have lost confidence in. Nigel Pearson would fit the bill for a big ugly ****er? Doubt he would come though

I know the players, I love the club, I can't do any worse, should they appoint me. God no! burton and hecky didn't do well last time, we weren't half as bad as we are now and still got hammered for 5 at Crawley.

Pearson won't come, who in there right mind would? Only an out of work failure who needs his mortgage paying for 12 months until he gets the sack as well. We are a basket case of a club.

How the hell can you blame Burton for the Crawley game, he only took charge on Thursday afternoon. Then travelled down Friday afternoon. Anyone that went to the S****horpe game saw something that's been missing all this season, players fighting for each other for 90 minutes. Only time they've shown anything like it was the Everton game. If you think Patrick will sack LJ and bring in another manager on as good or more money then you're crazy. I'll take Burton and who ever while the end of the season if this is the only way of getting rid of LJ. Give him the incentive that if he does well the job could be his. I can't see any other way of Patrick sacking LJ. Why can't one of our own be good enough for the job, the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Just a word of note, have a look into the history of this lad while he's been at the club. He's Barnsley through and through and is very well thought of in the game. Nyatanga stated that he would love Bunny to get the job full time while doing the caretaker job last year.

Cheers for the condescending diatribe. I'm fully aware of his history. I'd rather not see another good guy get sacked in 12 months time

I had the pleasure of watching that Eric Winstanley side that won 3 league titles on the bounce. Of which in my opinion Bunny was captain and the star of the show. In a side that included Nicky Eden, Andy Liddell, Dave Watson and Aide Moses. I kept a eye on his career and big things were forecast for the lad. But if I remember right Jason Macateer did him in a reserve game and he never came back from it. So he worked his socks of doing all his coaching badges and climbing the academy structure. Don't think he'd turn it down as this would be the best job in the world to him. I always ask his dad how he's doing when I see him around Dodworth. Give him a go can't do any worse than the **** were getting now. Think he'd take his chances with the job while the end of the season with open arms.
