and start's bringing loan player's in left, right and center( ironically the position's that we need ) We've been there, done that. Hold your nerve and stick with the long term plan, danny boy.
For me it's not about losing the game yesterday, it's more about how we lost. No leadership on field, no determination, it was embarrassing. It can never be acceptable to concede 5 at home, but we do more than most other teams. Far too many individual errors yesterday that cost us the game. MK Dons weren't that good, we were very bad!!!!!
It wasn't the fact that we lost yesterday, it was the way we lost. I don't expect Danny will panic but I'd be concerned if he wasn't concerned.
Am sure danny will be the way we fell to pieces in the 2nd half, i just dont want him thinking loans are the answer as i feel we already have the players at the club to improve us. Turnbull in goal, bailey in midfield and cole from the start and 3/4 of the spine of the team looks a lot stronger
i don't think there's any danger of that. especially after his post-match comments. he seemed quite non-plussed about the thumping we just got.
Does anybody have any idea when Turnbill will be fit? Every time I hear Danny he says, "he's almost there, maybe not this week but he's very close" yet he still seems no closer? Has he developed Gridelet syndrome?
He won't be too pleased at two home defeats out of three league games. If we are to do anything this season we need to make Oakwell a fortress.
