    Maybe (12 months after it was promised) we'll have the box office signing(s) desperately required. And maybe we'll get a manager without a naive streak that has been all too frequently exposed this season.</p>

    Then again, here's me who harps on about stability and continuity.</p>

    Bolton and Charlton, who went up with us to the promised land, have had two managers eachin that time - we've had nine.</p>

    It's not that I'm really anti-Davey - he should just never have been appointed in the first place.</p>

    </p>

    I despair.</p>
