Most enjoyable game I've been to since Huddersfield under Flitcroft. Feel sorry for those that missed it, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. For most of our lads, that will be the first time they've experienced anything like it, and I really hope it gives them the appetite and motivation to see it more often. LJ take note, entertain and the fans will respond. It wasn't like that because we were playing Everton, it was because the attitude and spirit of the team were bloody brilliant. Special mentions for Roberts, Crowley, Scowen and Pearson on our side, none of whom looked out of place against the opposition. In fact we might want to worry that Martinez will come in for Scowen, because he's a far better player than Cleverley. The best compliment I can give the Reds tonight is they forced Everton to play very well in the end. We just couldn't cope with Delofeu and Lukaku, but there's no shame in that. Barkley looked a class act too. Please, please go out with the same attitude on Saturday and the following week. You reds
