Interesting comments from Danny Mills on defending - the simpliest area of the game to get right, they used to go through the video of each chance created against them on a Monday and spend an hour or so working on the pitch afterwards to put them right. Said clearly some teams are not doing that many mistakes are easy to fix, and that coaches put too much emphesis on attacking and not enough on being in the right position, particularly full backs - Just struck a massive cord with our defensive problems and TKs inability to be in the right position defensively.....ever.......

Can I deduce from that that they never let any more goals in if it was the simplest area to get right?

No because that would assume that human's are perfect, which they are not, but we can assume it reduces the number of mistakes which lead to chances which lead to goals. A reduction in our Coco the Clown defending would be a good start though, don't you agree?

You were the one that said it was the easiest area to get right. If they are still letting goals in, then they aint got it right have they. I don't think it is as simple as you make out.

course its the easiest area to get right becuase you can show the players what they did wrong and how to correct it. you can watch a video of your mistakes and try to put those right and make sure you dont keep making the same mistakes. your never gonna stop conceding goals because theres 1001 ways to score em. but you reduce the amount of goals conceded through defensive errors.

It would our lot longer than an hour just to watch a video of all the chances created against us.
