Even when we were losing in first half of season never did almost every player in the team have a stinker. today was really weird. not sure if the players were tired, complacency setting in or the FA CUP has started to play on their minds. But it was really strange performance.

We got dragged all over the place and at times it looked like they had 3 more players on the pitch. I couldn't even make out what formation we were playing.

we kept holding on to the ball too long in defence and taking an extra touch, allowing them to get a block on the clearance. Far too many wayward passes straight to them and we hardly ever strung 3-4 passes together.

I can't single anyone out, every player seemed way off the pace. Saying that we could still have got something out of the game

I think they just need to recharge the batteries and forget about this one. Just watching the interview with Tunnicliffe, seems the players are off to spain for 4 days, so hopefully it will do them good and we'll get back on track against Bolton

Out of the starting 11, only Perkins and dagnall can hold their heads up I'm afraid, the rest were poor and poorer...

To be honest I thought Perkins was as bad as anyone, especially giving the ball away and his work rate wasn't usual high standard

Trouble was he had no one to pass it to. Obrien was absent and the new lad tunnicliffe wasn't ready for this match. Flicker would've been better sticking hassell in the middle for this one I reckon, ah well..
