What happened? He went right to front of Ponty to right of goal. Plenty of finger pointing from fans. Any ideas?
Probably been told he's not good enough, scored a few but they were always gunna dry up and his overall game is piss poor
At final whistle he was told in no uncertain terms what an abject performance he and the team had put in - he then started mouthing off back to fans - one of whom took offence and shouted him over - fair play to him he came over and they had their 'discussion' - all ended amicably
i still haven't seen him a one good game. obviously just missed all the good ones where he scored his goals. from what i've seen, he's been rank average
Rob Nunns @PitchsidePro 7m7 minutes ago Why question a player over his, and his team mates performance. Just look at Conor's face, it says it all.
why has he stopped shooting. thought his strength was shooting from outside area. hes had loads off opportunities to do so in past few weeks but hasn't. couple of times against Blades he was in perfect position on edge of area and passed it. maybe hes low on confidence + this 433 system seems to be pushing him wider
This is just garbage as are one or two other quotes above. I know some people are hurting but some of this stuff is just plain nonsense. Leave it a couple of days before you declare war on one of the brightest players at the club.
What do you mean it's garbage? Who am I declaring war on exactly? I haven't seen him have a good game. It's a fact.
Along with Winnall and Berry brightest signings at the club in years. Dip in form for players stepping up a level. Should all try supporting them a little. Amazing what a bit of belief might do for some of these really Young and inexperienced players. Very poor day today. Will turn around soon.
Well; if yours is a serious question, I'll give it a serious answer. If you haven't seen him have a good game, you can't have been to many this year.
The lad clearly has talent but he has to improve if he wants to progress up the leagues. He's having a bad patch but he'll come good again. All just my opinion of course.
Can someone please tell me what they see in Berry for him to get so much praise every week? I honestly don't get it. This isn't about today, just in general. I'm obviously missing something.
What is important to remember is that at no stage can the players be held accountable. The fans yes, the players never.
Played well on opening day, our best player against MK Dons, decent against Burton, Notts and Gillingham. And Bristol. These are just the home games I can recall. He was average at Rochdale, shocking at Bumhole Lane and Chesterfield. 10 goals and 11 assists though, it's no surprise our form's dipped as his has. Last player I'd be criticising. But we're all entitled to air our thoughts etc.
