    Just compare goals and assists. Admittedly neither can tackle but if Butterfield is going for £3.5 we need to ask for the same.

    The key difference is that Buttercup has done it in a higher, and much better league. That's why he's worth more.

    Butterfield has signed contracts at barnsley, norwich, Middlesbrough's and huddersfield over the course of 8 years. Hourihane has signed contracts at Sunderland Ipswich Plymouth and Barnsley over the course of 6 years.

    Read the other thread, I've just valued him at 1.5m. Aye I really dislike Hourihane. *rolls eyes*

    Butterfield is a proven championship player. Player of the season at Udders last season wasn't he? Boro fans rated him. A PL club signed him. He had Newcastle courting him.

    Twice the player at the moment.
