I know unbelievable that some people don't think he's been brilliant. He'll get 20 goals at his rate. Just needs another spell of form. Reckon he'll score against yeovil
I thought he was crap because he doesn't tackle and apparently has made little impact and on the balance of things we would rather have Mellis back... Maybe we should send a memo to the league.
I think you're bang out of order, disrespectful and totally wrong with your assessment of Delli Alli.
Experienced campaigner at side of Hourihane in middle, will give him some freedom to do what he can ie. dictate play and shoot. I do feel a bit sorry for the lad, cos he has been asked to play left and central and hasn't really had that much support to allow his natural game to excel.
i don't think he's been brilliant, by any definition of the word. nothing unbelievable about it. every game i've seen him in, he's been average at best. i hope he recovers his form soon.
Oh yeah I agree, I'd rather have Mellis and Dawson back. I really miss there goals and assists. Wish we could have them back
Make that three. Maybe we need to tell the league though that we don't count assists from corners or goals from free kicks or penalties it's obviously confusing them.
Make that four. A midfielder who scores & assists as many as he does and apparently he's not good enough. I wonder who these midfielders are that WILL be good enough?
He's had a bad run of form recently, along with the majority of our team. Before that he was playing fairly well, scoring and setting up goals, but I definitely wouldn't have thought he warranted a place in the 'League One Team of 2014'. Especially as he played half of that year playing in League Two.
I liked that. Its true though. Regardless of whether you or i feel connor has been good enough I thinkcitscfair tovsay that these awards and teams of the week, month, year are generally given out by people who only really look at the numbers. Personally I think houriane hasnt been good enough because of his all round play but that in a better team where he can afford to be 'lazy' he would have been involved more and scored even more goals.
