Saw Bristol did one against us last season. On the day when they dropped prices to get as many in the ground as possible, the club want to get people in fancy dress, so why not over the back of the ponty in flags?

I know loads of people have got one.

I'd like to see the Trust/Supporters club or whatever they call it these days, sponsor a piece of coloured paper for every seat in the Ponty End to reveal the club badge with 125 years underneath when the teams walk out. Looks brilliant when the likes of AC Milan do it. 4,500 bits of coloured paper at 2p a sheet = £90. Would be worth it for the effect - I'd even chuck a fiver in missen.

Haven't you got to sell the Ponty out to get the proper effect ? might be a problem

It's a good idea, but it would take some organising/designing and we would have to ensure that every seat was taken.

It shouldn't be far off a sell-out in the Ponty. The empty seats are usually the bottom 5 or 6 rows so they could be left with the red bits - saves on paper as well.

Designing it would be simple. Just need to know how many rows down and seats across there are and then it's just a matter of mapping it on a computer. The bulk of the design would be right behind the goals in the middle which is just about sold out every match anyway. At £12.50 I would hope there wouldn't be too many empty seats in the Ponty.

If somebody else sorts it out I will be more than happy to hold a piece up on the day.

*Just jesting, it is a good idea.

Alan Bloer or however you spell his name was on the "board" of England fans supporters when l was in them a few years back, every home game had the St George's cross mapped out so he'll have a contact on how it's done. Believe it or not they weren't just A4 sheets of paper, they even had instructions on telling you what to do with them. It's a good idea, Arsenal did it for their 125 and I'm sure the Ponty will be over three quarters full for this one to make it work.
