How about Dave Bassett as director of football?

    Not sure about &quot;director of football&quot;, but I would like to see winstanley back in some capacity.</p>

    He would organise the defence, he was a big influence on the tactics/style of play when wilson was in charge and he knows the club inside out. He should never have been got rid of. I also think it would go some way to getting the board back on the good side of the fans.</p>
