Leave him where he is. Can't take away how he played for us, but since he went there seems to have been a sudden dropping off of the rumours of Davey losing the dressing room/players disrespecting him etc. Diego Leon looks a lot happier an'all.
Oh, come on. It was a permanent transfer, whichever way you dress it up or disguise it.
He'll not be back.

Amazing what a difference a year makes. When Reid lost the captaincy and Howard took over, he was singing the praises of Barnsley FC etc etc. This season he thought he was bigger than the Manager who gave him the position.
Sending Him Back To Us........ when he doesn't want to be here would punish Howard for the actions of Chris Morgan, which isn't fair on Brian. Let him stay where he is.
Football Clubs are a strange environment - little cliques form, personalities clash etc, something changed with Howard's relationship with BFC from the end of last season to this. Reasons we can only speculate on. Sometimes actions have to be taken for the benefit of the club - I was unhappy both at Howard going and how it all seemed to be handled, but currently I don't think we're missing him and from what I see on the pitch, team spirit's improved.
Don't think anybody can deny what a good player he was for us, but i seriously think that we look a better side and are a more difficult side to beat without him in it. Funniest thing is the blunts fans just think that it is sour grapes on our part when we say this, but you only have to look at our form since he went.
Think its too simplistic to say that. Results have improved against mainly poor sides and most fans stated our first 2 months fixtures were going to be hard. Howard had no Anderson at the side of him. JCR missed first 5 games and then took a few games to get up to speed. Colace came in and also took time to fit in. We`ve suffered 3-0 defeats twice since he left Team spirit looks a lot better since he left and we won that game against Donny which turned things around confidence wise.
