    I think most people do

    I got a good one from Cardiff last year. Says date and millennium stadium. Suppose I wouldn't like it as much if we hadn't gone on to win the match :pff. But seriously I think that if the club put a message on the site asking veryone to bring their scarves instead of being more general it would have a better effect.
