RE: I remember Bennetts ice cream... I worked for Bennets Ice Cream at Birdwell. After I had done a shift at Monkton Coliery 6am - 1-30pm. Ice Cream 2-30pm to 7-30pm. Lovely Ice Cream. I got to have the first scoop off the top of the churn when I collected the van. This was the creamy part on top.
