Is nearly as comical as the little cheating lovely person getting away with it. As blatant as his handball in the World Cup for his country.
Strachan tried to defend him last night. Absolutely blatant handball and just to take the pi55 further the cheating little pr1ck kissed his hand after scoring.
amazes me how we are happy to slag another teams player (Suarez) off for handball, yet we all positively chuckled and guffawed when Andy Duggan carried it for three yards vs Hull for us one festive fixture before burying it for the winner ! !
Looked to me that even Suarez didn't think it would be given, he just seemed to smash the ball in net out of frustration and didn't celebrate at first. Still a cheating tw*t though!
Tin hat ready! I thought that he had not intended to handball it and would give him the benefit of the doubt. There is no doubt that the goal should not have stood, as the hand did control the ball in order for him to score, but, although I detest some of this guys antics, I thought that he actually tried to get his hand out of the way and almost looked back as if he knew the goal would not stand. He has cheated in the past, but I din't think this was a blatant attempt to cheat, but the goal should have been disallowed.
The sickening thing about his handball in the world cup is that it sent Uruguay through at the expense of Ghana, who were the better and more deserving team. The rules should be changed to better punish blatant cheating. I've not seen the one from yesterday yet, but Suarez had no remorse over the one he did in the world cup, he just felt sorry for himself, then celebrated when they won on penalties like it was all his own doing. lovely person of the highest order.
I don't think yesterday was cheating at all - if it was even intentional, which I doubt, it happened so quickly it could only have been instinctive. There was no time to think about it. You could see from his reaction that he didn't think it would be given. It's not his fault the ref missed it. Think back to the cup tie v manure in 1998. Hendrie knew he was offside. It wasn't given. Should he have ran over and put the flag up himself? Yesterday was the sole fault of the officials, not Suarez. Lets be honest, his antics v Ghana were deplorable, and his dives have earned him a deserved reputation which has cost him and his team the award of penalties for genuine fouls as refs assume he's diving. Yesterday wasn't his fault though.
I remember Andy saville spiking the ball down for John deehan to score against Leeds ... wouldn't have looked out of place in a volleyball game
Apart from Van Pervert, he's the best in England at the minute and wuld walk into any other Premier League team The blame has to go on the officials, which was pointed out via the Mansfield manager and keeper. If it had been a different player, or a Mansfield player, there wouldn't be all this about it
