how are we able to sign a players when the window is closed

    I'm a bit confused on this too DT. We signed Phenix but he can't play for months. Sheff utd sign a kid from non league and he plays a league game for them about 3 weeks later.

    Can sign any player you like, window closed or not. Just can't usually play em dependent on regulations.

    But aye, bit strange that we signed Phenix the same time Blunts signed Adams and yet we can't pick Mike and they've already picked Che. Sort of name is Che anyway? Better than Ched, mind...

    if he was just on an a amateur or semi pro contract... but will that still mean he is 'Cup Tied'

    You can sign any play when he window is closed but they can play until the next window opens. I don't understand however how Sheffield Utd players gets to play.
