When he scored his goal he stood there waiting for all the players to come and congratulate him,i think he expects his feet kissing or summat, and the look he gave those in the ponty end when they were throwing the ball back was evil.(neer)
delusions of grandeur could never have been a more appropriate phrase than for "lee" trundle. very good third division player good second division player.. and erm thats about it.
Sorry.. But I thought he was very very good. His problem was he was playing upfront alongside a dirty donkey.
i didn't doubt he was a good player as i said - very good in the third division, but he has delusions of grandeur - seems to think he belongs in the premiership or second division at the very least. he strolled around the pitch at times intimating he is a worldbeater , he isn't even halfway there.
Said last night knows his own limitations Big fish small pond unable to challenge himself at a higher level imho
Obviously... a case of knowing your limits. hes 29 and never played in the top two leagues. plus hes slow and only got one foot.
Slow and only got one foot.......... we all know that and the players know that, so why the hell did Shuker show him onto his left foot for the goal?</p>
Thought it was a great goal he scored yesterday. must be doing something right to be the top goalscorer in the division
RE: Surely being a goalscorer you need a degree of arrogance. Think he may have seen what happened to Nardiello when he scored so he watered down his celebrations
RE: So if he wanted to come to us ? what would you say ? i would say no because we simply couldnt afford either his fee or wage.
RE: So if he wanted to come to us ? what would you say ? But should we get chance to sign Chris Taylor...
RE: So if he wanted to come to us ? what would you say ? i would go for it because you have nothing to lose with a kid on a very small wage (oldham wage is pathetic). he would be a great winger for us and be a chance to rotate the wingers more.
