got young player of year is a disgrace in my view, sam togwell played a huge part in keeping us up, while Atkinson looks a decent prospect, the trophy is called young player of the year, NOT prospect of the year!
How old is Togwell? Maybe there's an upper age limit after which you're only eligible for the full blown award.
Hardly a disgrace I think that the Young Player of the Year award should go to a player that has come through the ranks. Similarly I think the PFA Young Player award should be for a player that has come through the youth set up at an English club.
RE: You only think there "maybe an upper age limit"?! nt It was a rhetorical question. There's obviously an uper age limit, which I suspect is 21. I've just checked the Official Site & Atkinson is 21 whilst Togwell is 23.
