I quite like that they are closed. How come some people can't cope without being able to shop every day? Heard a comment using figures from Scotland saying how much is lost to the economy, rubbish, so what people would have bought today they won't otherwise have bought?
Absolutely beautiful today and I've only got 2 tins of lager in the fridge. Ach well I think a wee trip to the shops for a carry out should do the trick. Living in Scotland does have its advantages.
But what is the reason ? I am guessing its a church thing. do they really believe that the people will go flooding into the churches...I reckon not... they will all be in the pub
nice one...however I have a large garage with a fridge that is constantly stocked with beers/wines... so could perhaps go a week easy without a restock.... its called forward planning. But have a nice day my frock wearing mate... where abouts in the land of the Cross Dressers do you live. I was stationed in Scotland at RAF Kinloss did three tours there totalling about 13 mebbe 14 years ...totally loved it.
Re: nice one...however Dragon I live in the very affluent and salubrious Dundee suburb of Broughty Ferry. Can I ask if you loved living in the Highlands so much, why did you not stay? Anyway if you ever need help in clearing out your garage do not hesitate to give me a call. Always willing to help.
truly wanted to stay my friend ...but the career of both me and my wife was the reason. Have been back to Scotland several times since on hols mind. Did a few trips to RAF Leuchars in my time so am a little familiar with your area. The Kingdom of Fife ?? is that correct??
Re: truly wanted to stay my friend ...but Totally wrong. The river Tay separates Angus from Fife. Dundee sits on the north bank of the Tay in the County of Angus. Apologies mate I misread your post. Leuchars is indeed in Fife. Situated between Dundee and St Andrews. Sorry for that schoolboy error. I should have gone to Specsavers.
