I hadn't noticed that it has been removed either. Not that I really need it I suppose, I think I only ever used it once or twice...

I seem to remember it was deliberately removed or just plain got worn out.

I don't think we really need a STFU button though, and it'd be nice if the admins didn't use it either. :p

I think it was removed because use of it was getting silly - one particular poster was getting picked on and every post was greated with stfu's from a couple of other posters.

Well I put it back, if it gets over used or the sensitive types on the board start complaining. I will have to remove it again

Also, some of us began to use it as a sign of affection, to dis-empower it and hide our gay love. :)

You do know that as soon as a Steele or Hassell thread comes up 2 users are going to be bombarded with them. I think it was better left off personally.

lol ok removed again. But it was never meant to be anything more than a bit of a joke.

dont know why people took it to heart.

Could have set it so members can disable it individually

Personally I think it should be added back because it is only a bit of fun but there should be an option to turn off notifications when you have received likes/dislikes and STFU's because while it is sometimes fun to tell Hemsy to STFU it must be annoying for him to have notifications clogging up his screen at the top every time he loads a page.

I have given gally a more up to date version of the mod where members can disable notifications for buttons in their profile.

also given him a mod where you get a notification if someone quotes you which is useful, also lets you mention someone in a thread like @supertyke
