    I don't think that you, or anybody, in that thread posted anything that made me think 'that's a bit too much' I honestly thought it was just an open debate with a few questions and opinions offered but I may not have read every post in it so I can't really say if removing the post was OTT or not.

    well it makes someone feel important i suppose......removing threads that someone doesn't like. However on that criteria, every thread must be removed and the forum shut down because i am pretty sure someone would object to something said in every thread........apart from the 'we love thereev' thread!

    I removed that thread because we've had one example on here where a poster spent thousands in legal fees defending supposed defamatory comments. Ive never met Andrew Lodge, I've no idea what did or didn't go on but the simple fact is that what you posted could cost you a fair few quid to prove either way.

    I would also become legally responsible if I was alerted to anything potentially defamatory and didn't remove it!

    well actually it may indeed help....i cannot even recall what I said....... someone else did say Mr Lodge had nicked someone elses work and claimed it as his own. As far as I can recall that was far worse than anything i said so please don't blame me for the removal of this thread..... you just cannot blame thereev for everything i am afraid or else the lawyers may be on my side.

    yes i may have....however i think the word 'probably' was also used which makes it a whole lot different...... and if anyone wants to sue me for that ....good luck. i did not accuse him of nicking someone elses work though...that was someone else....... looks like a lot of people may be getting sued doesn't it.
