I thought he got the ball but I sit in the Ponty.

The referee was the 4th official at Anfield when we beat Liverpool, I thought he may have brought us more luck :(

And whilst I am on it

What do the linesmen actually do, the one on the East Stand side couldn't even decide which way each throw in should go and just left the referee to do all the work.

Yes he got the ball .... just like

Morgan got the ball....

well a bit like that.

Put it this way, from where I was sitting in the Upper, I was cringing. It was a horrible challenge. I was half expecting the red card to come out.

Having said that alot of folks around us kept saying he got the ball - but ouch - their fella yelped !!

Well I was sat in the Ponty and I thought he played the ball first but it's not the best angle I suppose.

I was sitting 17 rows back in the east stand lower

and I got closer to the ball than Macken.

It was a very bad challenge and with another ref could easily havebeen a red card

I was sitting 15 rows back in the east stand lower, bang in line with it.

And I thought he got the ball.

Didn't think the ref was too bad though, apart from the tackle when Teymourian turned and the Forest player just brought him down.

He was very finicky in some of his decision making. Got the big decisions right. Linesmen were inept.

We've had a lot worse this season

I thought some of our bookings were a bit harsh - but he should have booked Hassel and Kozluk when he didnt
He could have sent of JCR for the kiss
He could have sent off Macken
He gave us the "stonewall" penalty

Personally I thought he let them get away with too much - Macken only retaliated because he had been flattened from behind and as usual got nothing
In fact Macken got no protection from him all game

but I suspect a Neutral would say he was a decent ref.

No one can blame him for our failure to win not even Davey

The ref was bad again and he gave barnsley nothing apart from the pen. I was a few seats off been in line with the incident with macken and the diving lynch. This was another bad ref but not the first and i am 99% sure i will see another tuesday night. Can you hug someone and get away with it. Cohen committed 4 fouls and got 1 yellow and that was when he made the fourth and the florist players still where having ago.

The ref was shocking! The pen was the only thing he got right!

Macken's challenge wasn't bad at all, i was 6 rows back in the East Stand Lower bang in line with it. Lynch made that much of it he put his back out doing a double pike!

He gave a free kick against Hassell even tho the player on the left skipped round him leaving him for dead

He stopped Anderson breaking free when he should have played advantage. He did apologise but he shouldnt have been so whistle happy!

He booked Darren Moore for nothing yet didn't even give a free kick when Teymourian was tackled NFL style in the middle of the pitch.

If you all thought he was a decent ref then the dross we have had to put up with other the past couple of years have dulled your senses to the inferior officiating we have to put up with on a regular.

The lino wasn't much better, he was 10 yards behind play and missed a blatent offside with Earnshaw in the 2nd half and one point flagged for a free kick when Earnshaw had the ball near the touchline. I was about to shout my disaproval as I though he gave a foul against Kozluk but he actually gave it us?? Totally baffling!

At least we didnt have Peter Walton! Dear oh Dear!
