    I thought he looked OK

    Chased down the defenders. Had a reasonable effort. Needs to learn when to pass like.

    he did well

    had a few good shots and wasnt afraid to run with the ball. When nardi had the ball i noticed that hayes ran away from him taking one or two defenders with him which gave nardi more room to run into.

    I think that as they get used to each other they will become a good partnership.

    Interestingly (or not) the whole squad looked slimmer. even mcphail looked to have lost a fair bit of weight.

    i noticed that aswell, even carbon looked to have lost a few pounds over the summer,things cud be looking up.
